Pianist and composer, born in Palermo (Italy) in 1975. He graduated with distinction at the Vincenzo Bellini Conservatory of Palermo in piano in 1995 and he studied composition with E. Sollima.He has received many awards in piano contests, first of all the "Prokofiev award" of the International Piano Competition Ibla Grand Prize 1992.
During his academic music studies he developed interest in other forms of musical expressions, like jazz, rock and world music.
He has been playing as orchestral pianist of the “Orchestra Jazz Siciliana” with musicians like Michael Torke, Michael Mantler, Toots Thielemans, Diane Shuure, Arturo Sandoval, Bill Russo, Miky Howard, Bob Mintzer e Jack Walrath.
He has been playing as sideman in different music contest and jazz festivals with: Dave Liebman, Dusko Goycovich, Eliot Zigmund, Bill Moring, Brad Wheeler, Joy Garrison, Pietro Tonolo, Stefano D'anna, Gianni Basso, Gegè Telesforo, Maurizio Giammarco, Marco Tamburini, Gigi Cifarelli, Pietro Leveratto, Fabrizio Bosso, Rosario Giuliani, Jean-loup Longnon, Gianluca Petrella, Francesco Cusa, Cristoph Monniot, Rosario Giuliani, Enzo Randisi, Gianni Gebbia, Giuseppe Milici, Pavel Smetacek and many others.
His actual main projects are: Accabbanna (by Olivia Sellerio and Pietro Leveratto), Hector Mann Music Crew (with Francesco Guaiana and Marko Bonarius), Nursery four (with Marko Bonarius and Francesco Cusa) and Collettivo Cuper Santos.
He has been playing in Umbria jazz 2004, Montreal jazz festival 2006, Siena jazz 2005-2006, Festival Internacional jazz Barcellona 2006, Zsàmbeck jazz open 2003, Baku Jazz Festival 2006 and many others.
